The thing that's going to guarantee you a positive result EVERY TIME - no matter what you're trying to do.
And guess what..? You already know the answer.
What I'm talking about is FOCUS.
Do you know what focus stands for?
It sounds cliche - and it is one of those cliches that stands to reason -there's a lot of truth in it.
When you follow one programme, or vision, or solution - whatever you want to call it - your chances of success increase dramatically.
Let's look at some examples...
Do I think WW is the best diet..? No. Does it work..? Yes!
Low Carb Diets
Are they a great long term solution..? No. Do they work..? Definitely
Is the the optimum solution if you're looking to tone up..? No way. Does it get people toned..? Sure
More anecdotally, I'm sure you've seen people who aren't necessarily anything special in terms of intellect or work ethic achieve incredible things at work and in business - did you know Henry Ford (founder of the Ford car and inventor of the modern 'assembly line') had very limited formal education?
What successful dieters, exercisers and entrepreneurs all have in common is a laser-like on one outcome that they won't be deterred from.
THERE IS NO PLAN B.
Take a look at your goals (assuming you're clear on them already). Have you got one course of action that you're going to follow until the end, and until that goal is reached, or better, surpassed.
Working in a gym I see all too often people sabotaging themselves by not really committing to the goal properly and getting distracted along the way.
When there is no plan B you are fully committed to plan A. There are no other options. Your brain starts to join the dots to ensure you get what you want. The universe begins to align itself with your goals and it's almost like there is no way you can fail.
How great does that sound..? "There's no way I can fail." How much easier is it to take actions when you know there is NO WAY I CAN FAIL. Actions become bigger, more frequent - you're on your way to getting exactly what you want!
When I created the Warrior Women Programme one thing I had in mind was to create an environment where ladies were constantly focused on achieving their goals.
I handle the nutrition and the exercise so they have less distractions and more energy to focus on their results.
All they have to do is trust the process, focus on their goal and everything else will fall into place.
